Luxury private island resort in Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve

Location

Vakkaru Maldives is set within the crystal clear waters of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in Baa Atoll. Guests arrive via a 25-minute seaplane transfer from Male International Airport, with a private lounge available for seaplane guests. The hotel offers a 30% discount on seaplane transfers for stays until December 19, 2025.

Rooms

All 113 beach and over water villas and suites offer ocean views and a sense of space. Over Water Villas include private infinity pools and direct access to the ocean for snorkeling. Guests receive a personal butler from arrival to departure to coordinate all arrangements.

Dining

Six restaurants and two bars serve global cuisines, including Amaany Restaurant with Global Cuisine and Maldivian twist, Onu Asian Restaurant, Isoletta Italian Restaurant, and Vakku with fine cuts and seafood. The overwater Lagoon Bar offers creative cocktails and light snacks, while Cabana provides al fresco dining. A sommelier at Vakkaru Reserve selects wines from around the world, and private dining experiences are available.
